1974 Soldier
1974 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QX1021
In 1973, Hallmark introduced its first-ever collection of Christmas ornaments, which included twelve ornaments crafted from yarn. The 1973 yarn soldier featured a white belt and sashes, red boots, and a tall red hat with black and gold accents. Following up in 1974, Hallmark released another soldier Keepsake ornament distinguished by its white belt and sashes.
As with all yarn ornaments from this era, slight variations in design or color are typical and stem from the production methods used at the manufacturing facilities. These differences enhance the uniqueness of each piece.
It's important to note that yarn ornaments were originally sold in clear plastic bags, not boxes. Unless otherwise specified, there is no guarantee that yarn ornaments will come in their original, sealed plastic bags.
This Keepsake Ornament is made of yarn and felt, and was originally produced and released by Hallmark in 1974.
