This Hallmark Christmas Ornament features a hand-painted figurine of Raggedy Ann, part of HallmarkÂ’s very first collection of handcrafted ornaments, introduced this year, and included in the Tree-Trimmer Collection. She's holding a little red bird up to her face and it's kissing her cheek. Dressed in a blue prairie dress with a red and white print, the tan apron matches her bloomers, that end just below the knee with a ruffle and cover the cuff of her iconic tan and red striped socks. As one of the original 12 ornaments, and part of the 6-piece "Adorable Adornments" series, this classic piece holds a special place in Hallmark history and is a must-have for dedicated collectors. Don't forget her sweetheart, Raggedy Andy--he'd like to kiss her cheek, as well! Donna Lee, the artist who sculpted this line to appear as if they were carved from wood, worked for Hallmark from 1958 until she retired in the early 90's, and is best known for creating the beloved Keepsake series, "Nostalgic Houses and Shops."
