1977 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

This Hallmark Christmas Ornament is an unbreakable, white satin ball with a translucent, plastic sleeve and is part of the Tree-Trimmer Collection. It features a brown squirrel, perched on top of an old wooden bucket, half-buried in the snow and full of nuts. He's got a nutshell in his hands, as he stares at a bright red male cardinal making eye contact with him, as if to say, "Are you going to share?!" Some shells are also scattered in the snow in front of the tree stump, which has a holly bush next to it. On the other side, another brown squirrel is inside the tree stump and a quote by Emerson reads, "Each moment of the year has it's own beauty..."
