Captain Jean-Luc Picard (played by English actor Sir Patrick Stewart), was one of the youngest Starfleet captains ever, and was given command of the Galaxy-class starship U.S.S. Enterprise D. Born in LaBerre, France, Captain Picard appeared for seven seasons in "Star Trek - The Next Generation, and appeared in four feature films from 1994 - 2002.
