2002 Derek Jeter, At the Ballpark #7
2002 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
Derek Jeter grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but spent summers with his grandparents in northern New Jersey. There he became a Yankees fan and, like many youngsters, dreamed of someday playing for his favorite team. His dream became a reality beginning in 1992 when - straight out of high school - he was New York's first-round draft choice. In 1994 Jeter became Minor League Player of the Year and was named to the International All-Star Team. Playing for the Yankees in 1996, he was AL Rookie of the Year. Jeter, who has emerged as a team leader as well as a great shortstop, has four World Series® championship rings. He was named MVP of both the 2000 World Series® and the All-Star Game. #7 in the At the Ballpark series! Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees Artist: Dill Rhodus Size: 4" H
