Nearly identical to its predecessor, the Enterprise A was prematurely launched to intervene in a hostage situation on the planet Nimbus III, forcing the crew to complete vital systems in route. This ornament captures the classic, upgraded design of the legendary U.S.S. Enterprise as it first appeared in Star Trek feature films.
