In the safety of his desert dwelling on the remote planet of Tatooine, Ben Kenobi awakens the legacy of Anakin Skywalker when he presents young Luke Skywalker with a relic from a long-forgotten era ~ a lightsaber, once owned by Luke's father. Kenobi tells the farm boy about the all-but-extinct Jedi Order, thus starting him down the perilous path for which he was destined.
