2006 1948 Ford F-1, All American Truck, Kirlin's Special Edition - VERY RARE

2006 Hallmark Special Edition Keepsake Ornament

QMP4009

This repainted version of the 2006 All American Truck 1948 Ford F-1 commemorates Kirlin's 60th Anniversary.

The ornament was issued in EXTREMELY limited quantities and was originally only available to Kirlin's store managers and executives.

It is believed that this was produced in VERY LOW NUMBERS - about 100.

The back of the box reads:

"On March 10, 1948, Dale T. Kirlin and his wife Marian opened a small candy store in uptown Quincy, Illinois, called Andes Candies. Little could they know that this tiny store, located just "39 steps from Maine St.," would be but a first step in what would become a family business spanning three generations. Now, 60 years later, Kirlin's is the largest chain of independently owned Hallmark stores in the world, with nearly 100 stores in ten states.

In recognition of this milestone anniversary, and in celebration of the partnership between our companies, Hallmark is proud to present to you this very limited, repainted version of the 1948 Ford F-1 ornament. This ornament was first offered (in a gray paint scheme) in the Keepsake Ornament line in 2006.

We are proud of the strong relationship that exists between Kirlin's and Hallmark, and we appreciate the outstanding manner with which you represent our product to your customers each day.

Congratulations on your 60th anniversary!"

This Kirlin's truck is the REPAINTED SPECIAL EDITION - VERY LOW PRODUCTION VERSION.

The Kirlin's logo is featured on both doors of the truck, and special dated license plates for the front and the rear.

On the doors, the ornament reads: "Kirlin's Since 1948"

The 1948 Ford F-1 truck is a colorway/repaint of the twelfth in the All American Trucks Hallmark ornament series.

The front license plate is dated 1948.

The back license plate is dated 2006.

The ornament is made of die-cast metal.

The wheels turn.
