This 2012 Hallmark Limited Quantity ornament was originally offered at the 2012 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Premiere event, "while supplies last." This 2012 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament was originally a Hallmark Gold Crown exclusive. It features a snowman, wearing a jacket, green scarf, and Santa hat. He's holding a blue bird in his left hand and standing next to a birdfeeder, where a male cardinal is getting a treat. A metallic-silver bucket in front of the feeder reads, "Snow Buddies since 1997," however, this series started in 1998. The ornament can stand on it's own, or be hung from the top.
Tammy Haddix was born and raised in Missouri, and her dream of working at Hallmark came true when she was recruited from the Kansas City Art Institute. Now retired, after 37 years at Hallmark, she crafted thousands of ornament over the the last 28 years in their Keepsake studio. What she loves most about her career at Hallmark: the opportunity to work with and learn from talented artists, who became lifelong friends.
