The 2024 limited-edition category brings together several release groups rather than one matching series. Hallmark used limited status for anniversary pieces, supporting characters, alternate finishes, and designs connected with particular programs or events. Some accompanied Ornament Premiere in July, while another group arrived with Ornament Debut in October.

The July group included Toymaker Santa 25th Anniversary. Ken Crow's woodworker Santa returns to the workshop idea that has guided Toymaker Santa since 2000. This release marks twenty-five years of the series without replacing its regular 2024 numbered ornament.

July also brought 2024 Mrs. Claus, a porcelain figure with glittering gold glasses that recalls older holiday figurines. Ursula in Precious Moments style uses porcelain for a different purpose. The Little Mermaid villain is translated into the rounded, gentle character language of Precious Moments while remaining recognizable as Ursula.

Ornament Debut in October introduced alternate and companion designs. The gold Lionel Union Pacific Legacy SD70ACe is a die-cast repaint related to the twenty-ninth Lionel Trains ornament. Its metallic finish changes the established train design but does not advance the regular series number.

Tammy Haddix's Cozy Critters Chipmunk also belongs to the October group. The chipmunk wears a red earflap hat and scarf, extending a world usually centered on small birds. It is a companion to Cozy Critters rather than a numbered bird entry, so its different animal subject does not alter the annual sequence.

Club and convention ornaments formed additional 2024 limited groups with their own release paths. They should not be treated as July Premiere or October Debut pieces merely because all carry limited status. Program, event, and release period identify how each group entered Hallmark's broader limited-edition year.
