The 2026 Christmas Classics group centers on birds, angels, snow, music, faith, and older holiday symbols without depending on licensed characters. Materials carry much of the storytelling: translucent color, cut wood, layered paper, porcelain-like surfaces, and illumination create different kinds of Christmas atmosphere.

Christmas Cardinal uses continuous light so the red bird can glow within a larger powered display. Cardinals became familiar winter subjects because bright red plumage remains vivid against bare branches and snow, even though the bird is not limited to Christmas.

Lifting Their Voices arranges children in green choir robes like a Christmas tree within a stained-glass-style window. Laser-cut wood and layered paper build the scene, while sound plays “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”

The Light of the World fits a miniature light-string bulb beneath a church steeple, shining through stained-glass color. Matthew 2:10 on the reverse connects the central starburst with the biblical star rather than using light only as decoration.

Just Chillin moves snow indoors, placing a snowman between icy tree sculptures in a freezer. Battery light and “Winter Wonderland” complete the freezer joke. The four pieces show classic Christmas through nature, choir music, scripture, architecture, and gentle absurdity without repeating one material or mood.

The four designs reveal their stories in different stages. The cardinal begins with steady red light; the choir joins layered figures with a recorded hymn; the church places its scripture on the reverse; and the freezer scene saves its joke for the moment its setting is recognized. Familiar Christmas subjects become distinct through those carefully chosen structural and sensory details.
