Hallmark’s 2026 hobby, sports, and vehicle ornaments turn real machines and famous athletes into small records of design history. The year at the start of each title is the ornament year; a second date can identify the vehicle being modeled. That difference is clear in the 1973 Dodge C800 Fire Engine, Fire Brigade #24. Its cab-over layout placed the driver above the engine, leaving more chassis length for firefighting equipment. Tim Bishop’s ornament has rolling wheels, a light feature, and license plates that connect 1973 with 2026.

Railroad engineering appears in the Lionel Norfolk & Western Coal Hopper. A real hopper car uses sloping walls and doors underneath so gravity can empty coal quickly. The ornament’s red, white, and blue treatment marks the United States semiquincentennial. It was designed to stand with Lionel’s Conrail Bicentennial GG-1, joining two very different parts of railroading: the locomotive that supplies power and the freight car that carries cargo.

The sports pieces record people rather than equipment. Shohei Ohtani in his Los Angeles Dodgers uniform is an At the Ballpark complement, not the numbered player in the annual series. That wording matters because Ohtani’s rare two-way role as both pitcher and hitter makes him a natural extra subject without changing the main series count. Bobby Witt Jr. fills a similar companion role, while Joe Burrow holds the numbered Football Legends place for 2026.

Vehicles in the same year reach across road, air, and screen history. Classic American Cars #36 is a 1976 Ford Mustang Cobra II, All-American Trucks #32 is a 1993 Chevrolet 454 SS, and Sky’s the Limit #30 features the Crusader AG-4 airplane. The Car’s the Star #6 uses the Nissan Skyline seen in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Those numbers belong to four separate series, so they should never be read as one 2026 sequence.
