The 2026 Magic collection uses light, sound, motion, and interaction for different storytelling jobs. Magic names the presence of an effect, not one power source or one series. A vehicle can behave like working equipment, a lighthouse can perform its real purpose, and a movie joke can depend on remembered dialogue.

1973 Dodge C800 Fire Engine, Fire Brigade #24 combines a cab-over-engine body with a feature. The cab places the driver above the engine, leaving more length for firefighting equipment. Number twenty-four continues Fire Brigade; Magic describes how this chapter performs.

Holiday Lighthouse #15 gives illumination a literal job by sending light into a winter scene. A lever starts It’s Yoshi!, followed by egg movement and familiar game sounds as the character appears. The lighthouse operates as architecture; Yoshi's feature reenacts an origin moment.

Off to the Races turns Peanuts competition into an event rather than a still group. Nine Lives Spent isolates the unfortunate cat incident from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, where the title preserves the dark visual joke.

The best feature answers a story question. What does a fire engine do, why does a lighthouse shine, how does Yoshi appear, what makes a race lively, and which moment identifies the movie joke? Those answers lead to flash, beam, hatching motion, competitive action, and a quoted scene. The ornaments share technology only at a broad level; their stories decide the form.
