Hallmark Ornaments by Anita Marra Rogers

Anita Marra Rogers did not begin her career expecting sculpture to become her signature medium. A lifelong painter, she first experimented with clay during an informal visit to the Keepsake Studio. The results were strong enough to encourage her to build a sculpting portfolio, opening the door to a Hallmark career that began in 1985 and continued until her retirement in 2023.

Rogers is best known to many collectors as the artist behind Puppy Love. Introduced in 1991, the series gives each annual dog a year-dated heart-shaped tag and a distinct breed, pose, and Christmas story. The current catalog credits her with 591 distinct Hallmark ornament designs from 1988 through 2026, reaching far beyond Puppy Love into Barbie fashions, Star Trek, the Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, sports figures, Magic ornaments, miniatures, and club exclusives.
