Stocking Stuffers

Stocking Stuffers Hallmark Ornaments

(2021-PRESENT)

Stocking Stuffers began in 2021 as a numbered annual series built around a stocking filled with a new group of small objects. The stocking remains the frame, while its fabric-like pattern, cuff, color, and contents change the story. Different Keepsake Studio artists can interpret that shared idea from year to year.

2021 Stocking Stuffers #1 establishes the official count. 2022 Stocking Stuffers #2 follows in 2022, confirming that the sequence began two years before the third ornament. The number belongs to the stuffed-stocking design, not to every small object peeking from the top.

2023 Stocking Stuffers #3 reaches the middle of the first five years. 2024 Stocking Stuffers #4 turns the stocking into a music theme with a piano-key cuff, musical notes, and a group of tiny instruments including violin, horn, recorder, drum, and bells.

2025 Stocking Stuffers #5 continues the uninterrupted yearly count in 2025. Reading the dates beside numbers one through five proves the 2021 starting point without inventing gaps. The changing contents act like a portrait of a hobby, character, or Christmas surprise rather than random filler.

Older Hallmark ornaments sometimes show someone filling a stocking, but sharing the object does not make them part of this series. Stocking Stuffers has its own printed name, number, and annual structure. The 1993 Norman Rockwell scene Filling the Stocking, for example, belongs to a different illustration tradition and predates the numbered series by twenty-eight years.

Artist changes are part of the series plan: the first box described a different Keepsake Studio artist interpreting the stuffed stocking each year. That structure allows shifts in sculpting style while the stocking outline and annual number provide continuity. The objects above the cuff become a compact yearly theme, much like a tiny collection displayed inside one larger Christmas symbol.
