Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 Beginnings: Ralph McQuarrie C-3PO and R2-D2 Keepsake Ornament 2-pack – Inspired by the original pre-production art by Ralph McQuarrie for Star Wars: A New Hope.

This is the fourth exclusive Hallmark Keepsake Ornament that features original concept art of the Star Wars characters produced for conventions over the past several years.

The back of the box reads:

Futurist and artist Ralph McQuarrie created many of the conceptual designs for the first Star Wars feature films, including the initial designs of the Droid duo of C-3PO and R2-D2. When first envisioned, the golden protocol droid featured a much more humanoid face and figure, while the barrel-shaped astromech droid sported numerous appendages and vaulted rather than rolled from place to place.


Made of Die Cast Metal.
