1977 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament

This 1977 Hallmark Christmas Ornament is part of the Tree-Trimmer Collection and features a red ring with an antique car driving on gray pavement. The green and black Model T-type Roadster has orange flower hubcaps, metallic-gold accents, and a load of presents in the back. The ornament is made to look as if it were carved from wood and has "SEASON'S GREETINGS - 1977" in metallic-gold lettering, on the bottom, with a set of holly clusters on both sides of the text.
The artist, Linda Sickman, started working for Hallmark in 1963 and joined the Keepsake division in 1975. She's best known for her work with pressed tin, folk art, and the series, "Rocking Horse Memories," which ran from 1981-1996. Her most sought-after pieces include the Winter Angel and Americana-style Santa and Mrs. Claus figures.
