This 2024 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features, "The Keeper," the jailer from the pilot episode of the original TV series, "Star Trek." In the episode, "The Cage," Captain Christopher Pike is captured and imprisoned, for the purposes of researching human relations, with Vina, the lone survivor of the crew from the crashed SS Columbia. Fun Fact: The soprano singer, Loulie Jean Norman Price, who also voiced the opera singer from Disney's Haunted Mansion (see ornament QXD6585), is responsible for the operatic vocalizations in the eerie "illusion" music used in this episode, and several others, as well as various famous movies from the 1950's. Starfleet General Order 7 strictly forbids any spacecraft from venturing to the desolate planet of Talos IV, but there's no restriction on incorporating an extraterrestrial resident of the renowned Star Trek world into your holiday setup!
