QX1407
This 1979 Hallmark Christmas Ornament is part of the Tree-Trimmer Collection and features Twirl-About Motion, with two white doves able to be spun, manually, from the front to the back, inside a heart, made to look as if it were carved from wood. The heart has red poinsettias, holly, and white daisies in a bouquet at the bottom and a daisy garland on top, on both sides. It's dated "1979," in metallic-gold on the front center and the sides are metallic-gold, with the copyright embossed on the left side. The ornament is packaged in a metallic-gold box with clear, plastic lid, black flocked velvet plastic insert, molded for protection, and has a metallic-gold tag with blank gift card attached.
Linda Sickman, one of the original Hallmark Keepsake Ornament artists, started working for Hallmark in 1963 and joined the Keepsake division in 1975. She's best known for her work with pressed tin, folk art, and the series, "Rocking Horse Memories," which ran from 1981-1996.
