1981 Daughter
1981 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QX6075
This 1981 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is an unbreakable, cream-colored satin ball, with clear plastic sleeve captioned with "Christmas 1981 on one side and on the other: "A Daughter fills each day with joy by filling hearts with love." Two holiday scenes fill the panels, printed in pastels with rooms decorated in pink and green diamond/floral patterned wallpaper and green carpet. On the dated panel, a "pretty in pink" porcelain doll sits in one corner, with glass jars filled with peppermints, white taper candles, and Christmas presents scattered on the floor, next to a large basket of pink roses. The message panel shows a fat, white cat with a pink ribbon around it's neck, sleeping peacefully in a wicker rocking chair, On the floor is a potted red poinsettia plant with three big blooms, a large red box with green ribbon bow, and several smaller Christmas presents with holly clusters. The fireplace mantel has five lit white taper candles among holly clusters and three red and white stockings hang from the top. A large brown teddy bear leans against a blue box with red ribbon underneath, next to a glass candy jar filled with peppermint sticks. There's no fire for him to warm his fur but he still has a smile on his face! The ornament is packaged in the original "window" box, viewable from all sides, so you can see the entire bulb.
