It's a standard yet hilarious formula. Lucy wants something. Ricky says no. The determined redhead nags, tricks, and sweet-talks her husband until he finally gives in. Whether she is begging him to let her perform at his club, or asking him to conduct an all-girls orchestra for a fund-raiser, the outcome is usually the same. Ricky will pitch a fit (usually in Spanish), the crisis will be resolved, and the lovebirds life returns to normal-but only until the next episode!
