About This Item

2009 Galaga, Magic

2009 Hallmark Magic Ornament

Hard to find!

What would you do if an army of insect-like aliens descended upon your spaceship in the darkest reaches of the galaxy? Well, if you're anything like the waves of Galaga fans who descended upon arcades in the early 1980s, you'd press your FIRE button as fast as you could! Originally created in Japan by Namco, Galaga was introduced in the U.S. by Midway in 1981, and quickly became a favorite of arcade dwellers everywhere. With escalating battle action and the possibility of capture in an enemy tractor beam, Galaga took the sights, sounds, and excitement of video games to the next level.

Press the "player" buttons on the front panel of the ornament to see the game light up and hear the unforgettable sounds of this timeless arcade classic!

Battery operated.
