1980 Christmas Time
1980 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament
QX2261
The 1980 Hallmark Christmas Ornament is part of the Tree-Trimmer Collection and features an unbreakable, cream-colored satin ball with transparent, printed sleeve showing holiday travelers in a gold and red stagecoach, overflowing with luggage and presents. Four horses pull the carriage, filled to maximum capacity with men in top hats and women in bonnets, down the snow-covered drive to a fancy Alpine lodge. The panel dated "CHRISTMAS 1980" has a steaming copper mug with black top hat next to it and the caption: "These are the days of merry-making, get-togethers, journey-taking, moments of delight and love that last in memory." Pine cones and evergreen branches with red berry clusters frame the scene, bordered in bright red, same as the opposite panel. The ornament is packaged in the original "window" box, viewable on all sides, so you can see the entire bulb.
