When Raggedy Ann and Andy show up with sugar-sticky faces, you know they've had a memorable adventure! They never turn a toe until they hear the door shut and all the "real for sure folks" are out of sight. Then it's time to lead their friends in all the fun they can imagine. With their matching "cheery smiles" and "shoe-button eyes," Raggedy Ann and Andy have charmed their way into the hearts of children for generations. With the introduction of "Raggedy Ann Stories" in 1918 and "Raggedy Andy Stories" in 1920, Johnny Gruelle published a new book of "Raggedy" adventures every year for 20 years. Their adventures will always continue in the imaginations of children who love them.
