This 1982 Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament is a clear, acrylic disc with beveled edge featuring a frosted image of a dog in a Santa hat holding a stocking with a kitten inside. The sunken relief sculptured on the back is opposite of a cameo, which is raised, and it's bordered with a frosted ribbon, ending in a bow with jingle bells attached, just above the caption. The sentiment, inlaid with metallic-silver, reads: "Christmas is for friends 1982," and the copyright at the bottom on the back is also dated. The ornament is encased in a clear, plastic shell, molded for protection, and packaged in the original box, with an open "window" on the front and a die-cut opening in the shape of the ornament on the back.
